I can't create favorites

Via the Time registration, I see an option to 'Maintain favorites'. When I try this, and I want to add a task here, I get an error: "Field 'Category' must be filled in.". But even when I do this manually, the error remains. I tried activity 1348. It works when I add them in the timesheet and use 'Save as favorites', but not when I directly want to add lines there.
